CLAS Cymru reception & video at Royal Welsh Show 2017

The team from the Community Land Advisory Service in Wales (CLAS Cymru) team hosted a reception at the Royal Welsh Show this year to highlight and share its learning over the last four years. The reception, which was open to all show visitors, highlighted the important role the initiative has played and provided a discussion of how the CLAS Cymru Service can help more communities access land for outdoor recreation, food growing and other community uses. CLAS Cymru has supported more than 200 community growing projects to access land since its launch at the Royal Welsh Show in 2013.

During the show Ruth Bates of the Big Lottery in Wales made a short video featuring Lucie Taylor from CLAS Cymru, who talked about the importance of Big Lottery players in helping with community growing. You can view the video via:
