Case Study: Roundhouse Partnership

English
Roundhouse Partnership group, Cardiff

The Roundhouse Partnership consist of a group of people, based mainly in Cardiff, who came together several years ago to set up a sustainable land management project. After a couple of years of searching they found two pieces of land, a woodland of 5.7 acres and a two-acre plot of agricultural land. These sites are now being developed to meet the partnership's stated mission, which is:

  • To develop a rich variety of crops, livestock and other projects, products, and services that meet the needs of the partnership.
  • To manage land and any ancillary structures in a way that is sensitive to the environment, wildlife and ecological system of which it is part.
  • To manage our affairs sustainably not only in terms of the environment and financially, but also in terms of equitable and non-hierarchical governance procedures.
